You've probably seen it on the news ... Cedar Rapids experienced a TON of flooding. We are fine ... our house is about a mile up hill from the flooding. We have been without power for a few short periods of time, and are not supposed to use any water because of the limited supply left for the city to live on until alternate supplies open up. As you can see below, the hospital where I work is flooded. I am going in tomorrow morning on the dry side (to the right) to move us out to a remote location. There is no air conditioning, no power, it smells TERRIBLE, etc. I hope that we can get in and out as quickly as possible. Ryan is at our house, and has been stuck here since the roads flooded. Leif is home from Arizona for a few weeks ... so we have a house full and the kids are LOVING it. We aren't able to come to WI next weekend, but have plans to arrive when Adam does, probably next month ... he will let us all know when the time comes. http://www.kcrg.com/news/local/19945804.html
